Attention guides reward-based decision-making as measured by SSVEPs

Poster presentation at the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) 2024 Annual Meeting (Program No. PSTR421.13).
We combined frequency tagging with EEG to investigate how attention, as measured by SSVEPs, influences reward processing and guides subsequent behavioral adjustments. Results showed that SSVEP amplitude prior to the decision phase predicted subsequent choice, highlighting the critical role of reward-related self-initiated attention in feedback-based decision-making.
